About NZIBA
The New Zealand Indian Business Association supports business owners across New Zealand with practical guidance, advocacy, and community.
Our Story
Established in 2019, the New Zealand Indian Business Association (NZIBA) was founded to serve as a collective voice for small and medium-sized businesses across New Zealand.
We recognised that many business owners — particularly in retail, hospitality, and service sectors — face complex compliance obligations, safety concerns, and representation gaps. NZIBA exists to close those gaps through practical support, business education, peer connection, and advocacy.
Today, NZIBA works with business owners, government agencies, industry bodies, and professional service providers to support better business practice and stronger community outcomes.
Our Mission
To support, advocate for, and connect businesses in New Zealand — helping them navigate compliance, build capability, and raise shared issues with a stronger collective voice.
Our Vision
A New Zealand where business owners operate with confidence, comply with certainty, feel supported, and are represented clearly in the public conversation.
Leadership
NZIBA is led by astute professionals with experience across a range of industry sectors. Committee members run their own businesses and volunteer their time to support the association's mission, events, member engagement, and community work.

Operating with transparency, accountability, and ethical standards.
Collaboration

Equity
